Debra Henkener

I would describe my art to be a large mixed bag. I've never settled into one medium because I enjoy them all. I do whatever trips my trigger at the time! I am always curious, a fast study, and constantly experimenting. This may be confusing to anyone looking at my body of work, because it includes: realistic oil paintings, miniatures ATC cards, detailed & realistic watercolors, collage, functional decorative items, and modern fine art in acrylics. These are only a few things that I do.

I also teach adult art classes at Riverside Art Center in Wapakoneta. I am constantly looking for something interesting to share with my students. I enjoy sharing what I know, making friends, and learning together in a group setting.

I am also a writter of instructional art articles for several national magazines. I've authored three decorative art books and more than 250 instructional art packets. You may find these on my website.
